For this season from October 2011 to April 2012, we will provide useful information to plan your
visit to the national Reserve of Torres del Paine Park (Administered by Conaf)
FROM PUNTA ARENAS TO PUERTO NATALES
The distance between Punta Arenas and Puerto Natales is 250 kilometers by good paved road.
For those who travel in bus, main companies covering this road and other to Torres del Paine,
Calafate and Argentina are:

The main crossing point from Argentina in this sector is Río Don Guillermo, located in Villa Cerro
Castillo at 58 km. from Amarga Lagoon Porter’s Lodge and that connects to the location of
Calafate, Argentina, at a 284 km distance.
FROM PUERTO NATALES TO PARQUE TORRES DEL PAINE PORTER’S LODGES
3 are the main Conaf Porter’s Lodge to access in vehicles and buses
1) Amarga Lagoon Porter’s Lodge: 129 km from Puerto Natales (only one access in regular
buses*)
2) Sarmiento Lake Porter’s Lodge: 112 km from Puerto Natales
3) Serrano River Porter’s Lodge: 80 km from P. Natales (newer and shorter road)

VISIT TO THE PARK IN VEHICLE OR TOUR
Una experiencia muy recomendable para realizar en un dìa es el recorrido en vehículo por la ruta que bordea el Parque y sus diferentes lagos (Nordensjold, Pehoe, Grey). Diverse tourism agencies offer the so-called full day programs making stops in miradors and restaurants with incredible views.
VISIT TO THE PARK THROUGH W PATHS AND CIRCUITS (TREKKING)

Regular buses both to go and return from P. Natales to the Park access only through the Amarga Lagoon Porter’s Lodge (connection with Transfer to Las Torres sector) and continue to the Conaf Administration Center, with stop in Pudeto (crossed by catamaran in Pehoe Lake).
